Immerse yourself in the mystical realms of cold wave, postpunk, alternative, as three extraordinary bands: Desinteresse, the Moon, and Lorem Ipsum take over the stage at the atmospheric SoundVille in Rotterdam.

Let the full Moon illuminate your senses, as we embark on a night of musical enchantment, shared stories, and dance under the vast canvas of the night sky. MoonVille awaits you at SoundVille – where magic meets music.

Desinteresse

Cold, abandoned and non-existential feelings mark the dark and gloomy atmosphere on stage. Still sounds and voices are not primary - though the message is.

Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave act existing of Bart (bass) and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). Previously they released the singles ''Ga Weg'' (2021) and ''De Mensen Van Nu'' (2022) and debut album ''Voor Altijd'' (April 2023). Their most recent release is ‘’Ik Wil Dood Als Ik Het Vergeet’’, including live recordings from the Berlin/Leipzig shows. This EP is available on online streaming platforms and on cassette tape as well. They realize this by using original 1980s equipment, all under own label Decacence, seeing this as a form of art, identity and expression.

the Moon

Dutch 80's post-punk/new-wave fourpiece with heavy goth, mod & garage influences. Their sound envisions the greyness of living in an labour town and takes inspriration of the bitter depths that bands like Joy Division bring.

The Moon draws its influences from the gloomy dissonance of 80's post-punk. But just like its celestial counterpart welcomes starlight to showcase its beauty, this fourpiece takes in some rays of dreampop and mod-beats to fulfill its true potential. Their concoction will surely get your feet moving and head floating! Let their single Hexed be proof of that!!!

Lorem Ipsum

Alternative rock band Lorem Ipsum offers a unique sound inspired by acts like The Smiths, The Strokes, Wire and PJ Harvey.

Last year the band released their debut EP followed up quickly by their second EP 'Bitter Garnish'. Lorem Ipsum has an outstanding energetic live presence with punchy basslines, explosive drums, screeching guitar riffs and in-your-face vocals with cheeky lyrics. The four played at Dutch national radio stations 3FM and KINK FM, got selected for De Amsterdamse Popprijs and played at the Pinguin Radio Showcases during Eurosonic Noorderslag. With their debut album coming up and a club-tour together with BLANKO on the way, a new era begins for the band. A fresh sound, a progressed style and a breeze of brand new energy: this new musical phase won't go unnoticed and will be a treat for true indie fanatics.
